Inuik
My goddog
Because my goddog Alaska and his family moved north and will stay there forever, I had to find a new sponsored dog. After a decision that wasn't so easy, I have now found the right four-legged friend for me and we have a lot of fun together.
Inuik is very cuddly and sometimes a real "whirlwind". In a team, however, she is a top leader and concentrates very well on her work. She loves to run, whether alone on the scooter or in a team. She also likes to play with her colleagues and likes most other dogs. Inuik is also gentle with children and likes to be petted by strangers.
A goddog is a good thing for people who cannot have their own dog but still want to work with a dog from time to time or just go for a walk. If you see your sponsored dog often, an intensive relationship quickly develops between person and dog. There are people who have several dogs and are perhaps even happy when one of the dogs has a sponsored dog.
Animal sponsorship
Most zoos also offer sponsorship for some animals. The purpose of an animal sponsorship is to support the animal financially. For example, you pay for the food or upkeep of your sponsored animal for a year. For a lion, this would cost around 5,000 francs. That's why two people usually share the sponsorship for large animals. A sponsorship for a husky costs between 100 and 1,000 francs per year. Depending on how much you want to donate, you can get a carriage ride or a sleigh workshop per year as a thank you.
